Hp dl170 g6

Hello,

I just found the DL170 on ebay. Seems like you can configure it with 2, 3 or 4 nodes.
Per node 2x LGA1366 sockets and 8 RAM sockets per CPU.
On the pictures I can spy 6 SATA ports, 1 internal USB and a special PCIe header for different HP riser cards (for example 3x x8PCIe).
Where can I find more information about the mainboard etc?
Parts for the server are cheap in ebay (compared to C6100 part prices in germany), except the chassis. This thing is expensive..

Does anyone have information about the dedicated IPMI port?

I think this is the HP part number: 575498-B21

I would like to collect informations about this server in this thread, it looks like a good C6100 alternative.

Max first thread I have seen here. Seem to be around $1400 for four nodes, L5520's and 128gb ram + power supplies and rails: HP Proliant DL1000 4X DL170H G6 Servers 8x L5520 CPU's 128GB Mem 8x HDD Trays | eBay

Not too bad. I'm seeing hints of Quanta and Supermicro design as the power supplies are in the middle.
