All 3 BO'd for $100/ ea. I did not really want them, but for $0.50/gb they might make nice 200GB small drives.

I used this drive for cachecade drive and it actually feels faster compared to S3700. I didnt really do much benchmark to compare, but during super heavy load like deploying patches to 20+ windows vm and a reboot, I feel that this drive provide better cachecade acceleration than a S3700.

Wouldn't be surprised. IIRC, the 400 series wins the contest for most over provisioned drives ever. I want to say its something like 3-4x over provisioning.

Are you guys running cachcecade w./write caching to or just reading? If read are you doing RAID0 Pool of SSDs?

I am using writeback on my cachecade config... Right now i only have one ssd for cachecade, but planning to raid0 it it the near future.
