It also does not matter what the partition size is, it just matters how many writes you perform. In theory you can use the bigger partition to serve static content.

Not sure why industry comes up with confusing dwpd instead of tbw.

Im confused by disks with only TBW and no DWPD numbers, but guessing its because I'm used to it through the years.

bought another brand/mfg(NOT THIS!!) 7.68 on ebay, 3 received with 24 TBW and... the last with 1.12PB written .oO i, (1DWPD 5 years) so should be good, NVME list says 1% used. which is... well not the right math, to say the least.

The two I snagged seem to be spamming PCIE errors, but i'm having a hard time finding useful documentation on whether it's a misconfiguration by me.

They're coming off the jnvme port off a supermicro board. I had similar results running them off oculink ports on another server motherboard I have laying around.

I had the same issues with P4500/4510 and P4600/4610 with SM boards when I connected two similar drives two the two nvme ports of the Supermicro board. It's a SM firmware issue I suppose. They rejected this statement, obviously. Must have something to do with the two same 'ID's are connected and the SM firmware is trying to put one of them two sleep. At least that was my issue. Once I connected 2 different drives from different manufacturers, the error message spam was history. Same when you connect them via PCIe adapter/card.
