BO $450 accepted, so I spent the Ebay bucks on it.

LOL @Fritz I think they got swarmed with offers 300-400 from their first listing and know better now, seems 450 is as low as they'll go, MAYBE could push to 425, still cheapest # of 10Gig ports out there excluding IB w/40->4x10s.

I was only semi serious when I made the offer. I bought a GS4008 from a fellow member here and it's been wonderful, other than the noise. It's the loudest piece of gear I own. Noise level is on the par with a taxing A380.

They replied to my e-mail, lowest they will take is $450 but I have to now buy 2 to get that price :eek:o_O

They did not reply to any of my messages on ebay though, they only replied to e-mail AFTER I purchased one on ebay.

I only have 1, and don't need another though so I won't be buying 2 more :/ sorry I don't have any to sell you or a way to help... keep an eye on ebay they sometimes go days before re-listing, they will re-list unless this latest e-mail offer sold them out..

Like I said in the original thread, Amazon bought many of these. They had a whole container of them come into the US, which looked to have something like 6,000 of these in it. I expect we will see a few more turn up just like the LB4Ms.

These switches are probably being retired from Amazon(who bought them originally from Quanta). You could see the evidence these are the same switches from the pictures of the insides.

If you're ever looking to get rid of your GS4008 for something quieter I'm interested :)
