It seems like a lot of users struggle to get both nvme drives recognized when installed. I have AOC-SLG3-2M2 sitting in a x8 slot on a X10Dri-T. I've followed the instructions and still can see only one of the drives in unraid.

These are the instructions from the card in terms of bios setup
1) Having the CPU IOU settings set to x4x4x4x4 PCIe bifurcation. (I have done this)
This option may be found under BIOS Setup -> Advanced -> Chipset Configuration -> North
Bridge -> IIO Configuration -> CPU Configuration -> IOU Setting -> x4x4x4x4.

2) Having the NVMe Firmware Source set to AMI Native Support. (I don't have this option).
This option may be found under BIOS Setup -> Advanced -> PCIe/PCI/PnP Configuration ->
NVMe Firmware Source -> AMI Native Support.

Here is a pic of the MB slots
X10DRiT PCE slots.PNG

I found these instructions on pages 4-8 & 4-12 of the MB manual

IIO0 Configuration
IOU2 (IIO PCIe Port 1)

This item configures the PCI-E port Bifuraction setting for a PCI-E port specified by the user. The options are x4x4, x8, and Auto.

IOU0 (IIO PCIe Port 2)
This item configures the PCI-E port Bifuraction setting for a PCI-E port specified by the user. The options are x4x4x4x4, x4x4x8, x8x4x4, x8x8, x16, and Auto.

IOU1 (IIO PCIe Port 3)
This item configures the PCI-E port Bifuraction setting for a PCI-E port specified by the user. The options are x4x4x4x4, x4x4x8, x8x4x4, x8x8, x16, and Auto

4-12

IIO1 Configuration

The options are x4x4x4x4, x4x4x8, x8x4x4, x8x8, x16, and Auto.

Which PCIE slots correspond to IIO0 ports 1-3 and IIO1 ports 1-3? I'm confused because my board has 3 x16 and 3 x8 slots but the instructions in 4-8 &4-12 make it seem like there a 4 x16 and 2 x8??

Thanks in advance

CPU0 port 3A 8 lanes go to Slot3
CPU0 port 3B 8 lanes go to LAN X540/i350
so don't use Slot3

I got it figured it out. Moved the card to slot 1 and changed it to x4x4 and it works

These Supermicro dual m.2 boards are very picky. I had the same issue with PCI Express links not training. Some slots both drives worked and other slots they didn't even when selecting the proper PCI Express bifurcation settings in the BIOS.
