H11DSi?
Must be a recent addition then.
I remember that it didn't care before.
Downgrade the ipmi?
from a point you flashed a signed FW you can't downgrade, same with BMC FW. you have to use hardware flasher.

Unfortunaly no :/
"IPMI firmware version R1.52.21 or newer is with a signed key. Once you upgrade to this firmware version, the device cannot be rolled back to a previous, unsigned IPMI firmware."

I've finally had time to use my new CH341, and it's still the same. And this time the bios reread matches the injected file.

I received an H12DSI today and the processor works, so it's a compatibility problem between the H11DSI rev 1.01 and the rev 2 bios.

anyone with an H11xxx, a CH341a "with SOP16 clip" and IPMI <1.52.21 willing to dump a raw read of the BMC flash chip?

wondering if the VRM controllers got some changes at some point just before supermicro started putting stickers and making them all 2.0 boards

what i know there are two SMD resistors to change, VRM programming can be checked if you find a updated board and compare with yours.
afaik uses Infineon renesas, need I2C dongle and PowIRCenter manuf. software to write to NVM.

yeah, but it can't be directly flashed like that.. I tried. The flash from IPMI update page does some voodoo behind the scenes during it's reflash process
sure not, with SPI programmer, after flash, set correct IPMI MAC() with IPMICFG.efi

it's more than that.. flashing the bmc directly to flash with a programmer doesn't work.. it's inoperable afterwards. no bmc heartbeat or activity

supermicro H11 BMC FW use bin file not img.
i have done and worked with H11DSU-iN e.g. recently
edit: programmer powers up the ASPEED BMC, disable BMC or desolder BMC chip,
good idea is a SOP16 socket.
left FW file, right SPI dump of older FW version.
dump vs FW.jpg

I directly flashed bin from supermicro to SOP16 flash IC with CH341a.. it did not work.. only when I reflashed the original read I made was it functional again

@RolloZ170 @RageBone @kramer

I would really appreciate if you guys could work out an H11DSU conversion from rev 1.x to 2.x. I got some here and never were able to convert with mods available in the net. As @RolloZ170 pointed out, Epyc 7371s work, but with all the mods and 7402s boards are starting and just give you a black screen.
