Since nobody answered that question, I'll give it a try :)

I was thinking about it because I'm currently looking for something to expand the storage capabilities of an HPE Microserver Gen 10 plus that's also ESXI compatible. The card would fit the bill, but I don't think I'll go for it because:
a) I am still not 100% sure how well this works outside of HP's DL series
b) chances are I'll just go for one of the older < $100 cards

That being said, I haven't found anything particularly wrong with it :)
