Hmm, I thought these would be further out. Assuming this gets a decent Passmark score, this may be just the thing I'm looking for, for my NAS/Plex setup. The 2758 I felt was just a little too anemic for transcoding capabilities...like enough, but with little headroom.

Curious as to how this will be priced or if there'll be an 8 core variant that may be all I need in the coming months.

You will be seeing both the top and the bottom end of the C3000 series compute on STH as soon as we are allowed to publish.

Based on that, I think the higher-spec'd 16C motherboards are going to be in the $700 range.
