Funny file access permission issue

I had a Synology DS1812+ NAS that has been around for years that I am in the process of decommissioning. I found a folder last touched in 2012 that is giving me this error when I am trying to copy.


This is one example of something which is not an issue on my Linux/ FreeNAS/ OmniOS NASes.

Following up to see if you were able to figure out what was causing this problem and were able to resolve it.
I ran into a similar problem where the directory had 777 permissions, but I had to su to root before I can CD into it.
