I think the prices are fair based on ebay sales but everything is best offer. Be reasonable please, no low balling. Shipping from CA 94025. Economy to CONUS included for parts but *not* for the Supermicro chassis or HP server; PM me your zip and I'll estimate it.

Chassis/system in original boxes with all accessories (+extras I added like trays and fans).

Supermicro CSE-747TG-R1400B-SQ
Awesome workstation chassis, reasonably quiet so great for running 4x GPUs next to your desk! I think I added two more fans to the fan wall plus some extra hot swap trays $550 + shipping (it's heavy)

HP ML30 Gen9 server
E3-1230V5, 4 GB, 4x SAS/SATA 3.5" hotswap with 4x trays included, I added the HP fan for cooling PCIe cards $300 + shipping

4x E5-2670v1 SR0KX $60/each [SOLD]
2x 1x Intel Scalable ES2 QL1K 24 core, 1.80 GHz $300/each [1x SOLD]
Works in some Supermicro single and dual socket boards, see here. I took a chance with my very non-standard system and they wouldn't POST but original seller was highly rated so I presume they're okay in a supported board.

1x LSI SAS9200-8e, full bracket $50
1x LSI SAS9207-8i, full bracket $50 [SOLD]
1x LSI SAS9220-8i (IBM M1015), full bracket $50
1x PCI adapter to pass through 2x SFF-8088 external to 2x SFF-8087, good for JBOD $15
1x Intel SAS/SATA expander RES2SV240, includes 4 long and 2 short SFF-8087 cables $45 [PENDING SALE]

1x Supermicro CSE-PTJBOD-CB3 $80 [SOLD]

1x Seasonic SS-400L2U 400W 2U power supply, quiet if low load $50

8x 8 GB DDR3 RDIMM - 2Rx4 PC3L-10600R NANYA NT8GC72C4NG0NL-CG $20/each

2x ConnectX-2 10G (1 full + 2 low profile brackets) + 2m DAC cable $40
4x Broadcom 25G OCP mezzanine NICs BCM957304M3040C $50/each

will 1x LSI SAS9220-8i (IBM M1015), full bracket support large drives? 4TB and 6TB?

I just got an SuperMicro X8DT3-LN4F Motherboard with onboard controller and it does not support drive over 2TB

and HP 487738-001 sas expander seams to be dead as I can not even see it.

@vl1969 yes, it’s SAS2 so it will support drives over 2TB. Your 4 and 6 TB drives will be seen, assuming your current problems are with your HBAs.

Thank. I do not have a problem yet.

I am upgrading my server. So I got

SuperMicro X8DT3-LN4F MB
and HP 487738-001 468405-001 expander.
The mb have built-in sas controller.
I made a mistake in thinking that hp card was an hba but it is only expander.

My needs are:
A controller thay I can expand to 24 sata 7 pin ports.
A controller that supports disk larger than 3tb.
It needs to go into pcie8 slot.
And not too expensive.
If it can work with the hp expander I already have it's a plus.
