Somebody over at the HardOCP forum recommended I list this here.
For sale: Dell H830 RAID controller with 2GB NV cache and BBU, 8 bay SAS/SATA tower, the cables to go between them, plastic container with all the screws needed for either size drive, and extra long high power power cord. It works well with many types of SSDs, enterprise grade 2.5" HDs, and 5400RPM 3.5" HDs, including WD Red drives. Does not work with laptop drives (too slow to respond) or 7200RPM 3.5" drives (not enough airflow). I have tried. For being 4 years old, it has seen very little use and has very little dust. $450 shipped within the US.
