Do you know if these are compatible with Intel boards. I'd heard that AMD boards can be little more forgiving and compatible with wider selection of RAM than Intel boards.

I have no idea. All I know is these were NOT on the QVL for the motherboard I bought. If you have a specific MB in mind, check its QVL...
