I'm currently trying to upgrade an IBM X3550 M2 to a M3. The boards are the same apart from two items. The SAS backplane and power connectors differ between the two models.
Does anybody know the inputs for these so I can adapt cables?
Also if anyone in the UK has a set of air baffles for the M3 let me know. They moved the RAM slots slightly and the baffle from a M2 doesn't quite fit. I could cut it but it wouldn't be good for cooling.
