I bought one of those passively cooled pfsense routers / mini pc and curious on what seems to be non-standard fan header. I have two, the older 6 port model and this new 4 port 2022 model. The older 6 port model had a standard 4 pin PWM header but this one seems to have a 4 pin header but isn't what regular case fans attach to. (Could just be a fan header that I don't recognize)
Anyways, here is what the motherboard looks like and what the header looks like (at least I believe because the label beside it is FAN1)
Is there some sort of adapter? or do I need a specific fan?
This newer model supports a 80mm fan and I am putting it in a cabinet inside of closet that will get barely any airflow so the fan sound won't be noticable and I just want to make sure it's cool as I have 2.5gig WAN at my apartment.
