once you have flashed a signed file you have keep this.
check the BIOS chip size please.

I peeled off the sticker, and was barely able to read the chip. I think its a 16mb one.

yes. because you fashed the wrong signed BIOS, the BMC FW now wants only signed files,
the only way is now: pull the BIOS chip out ofthe socket and flash with USB programmer like ch341a or buy one preflashed BIOS chip.
