Don't see much deals on power supplies. Thought this seemed pretty descent (ends in ~17 hours) : https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B017ICWP82/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Seems you get 2 years warranty added on as the 1000GQ has the suffix "V1": EVGA - Warranty - Power Suppliesexcellent price for 1000w. although the 5 yr warranty is now just average...
Interesting. I saw that when I saw the ps listed on the evga site but didn't realize it applied to the particular part number and not just buying direct. Great homework! 7yrs for this price is quite nice.Seems you get 2 years warranty added on as the 1000GQ has the suffix "V1": EVGA - Warranty - Power Supplies
As long as it covers the watts by a factor of 2, I don't see why not.would this be a good choice for a engineering workstation build consisting of a Xeon w-2125, supermicro mainboard, lots 'o DDR4 ECC ram, Nvidia quadro p4000 and a few drives? Stability is what we are going for.
STH great deals effect..bought one myself too... not sure why ;(... i already have 2 unused PSU
The same as listed further up in the thread: parts with skus ending in v1 include an extra 2yrs on the warranty. That is a nice price on a gold rated 850 but I only see 5 year warranty, where do you see seven?
