ESXi with an Multi USB Card?

Maybe someone know there are the Multi USB Cards in the Wild who have (in my case) 4 USB Chipsets and an Controller to mange them.
Why is that handy? Since many device work via USB this Days with one Card I could put 4 USB Hubs behind them and 4 Virtual Machines could access HW and run the dedicated SW even when there is an old OS Requiered.
Sadly the different Chipset show up in the ESXi but I cant put then truth. Why? I dont know.
Are there some Multi USB Chipset Cards who work with an ESXi and maybe in the future with an Proxmox?

i had one such usb card, it had 4 individual chips or one per port, but i cant seem to find the details from my old emails. I think you want to find cards with etron tech chip. I know i pass-thru those cards to vms on esxi.

Sadly i my PCI-E Ports are very limited and when i install some GPU the are much more limited. I need to use a Multi Chip Card.

Sonnet's Alegro Pro USB-C card does this. Eight total USB-C ports with four separate controllers connected through a x8 PCIe bridge. The product page explicitly advertises support for the scenario you're describing, too (four VMs each with a controller passed through). Quite pricy, though.
