ESXi 6.7 free license

Basically I just want to be able to install the vCenter addon, which AFAIK is locked behind one of the more expensive licences.
The really cheap licences are probably fake, and I could probably generate 1000 of those with some of the keygens out there. About as legal as those $10 Windows licenses if you ask me.
BUT if there is a market for real 2nd hand licenses, however illegal that might be from VMware's point of view, then that's what I'm interested in.

If that's the case, I guess ebay might be your friend. I've seen people sell licenses there with the physical "carton" thing that older versions used to include when you bought the server with the license from oem.

I would rather use a keygen to get a license number than buying this stuff from ebay or other marketplaces where sellers can delivers the codes within minutes... (Also they probably use keygens to generate the keys)

I don't disagree with your perception. I think likewise. I'm empathic with your predicament. Im lucky because the company I work for pays for my vmug.

Yea, I think the same.
But I just thought there could be a way to get it legally, and also, the pain of having to register fake VMware account everytime a trial expires so you can download updates... now I don't think I could get around that even if I bought a legit key
