And what would it be with Linux - mdraid, ZFS?..
Only ZFS, I use it several years both on Linux and FreeBSD.
ZFS is a disk raid, volume manager and file sysytem all in one, and very reliable, flexible and versatile, especially the new OpenZFS 2.0 which is same codebase on Linux and FreeBSD.
