Has anyone successfully got an Epyc 7V13 processor working? If so, what motherboard do you have? I have a Tyan S8030 motherboard which works fine with a 7302 processor, but I'm needing more cores so I decided to try a 7V13 processor. I'm running the latest BIOS (4.02). When the system boots I get the Tyan logo and the bottom right corner shows code FFFF. I tried 4 sticks of RAM, 1 stick of RAM in different slots, and no RAM at all and I get the same thing.

Yes it works on normal mother boards like H12DSI I use. S8030 should also support it without problem, but a BIOS update is needed.

About the board rev, you can flash the newer bios on an older board but not BMC.

Verify that the Epyc 7V13 is listed on the motherboard's CPU compatibility list. If it's not listed, it might not be supported by your motherboard.

If anyone runs across this post in the future, I was able to get Epyc 7v13 processors to run in a Supermicro H12DSi-N6 motherboard but they would not run in a Tyan S8030 motherboard with the latest (4.02) BIOS.

7V13 works fine in Asrock ROMED8-2T, latest BIOS 3.80.
