All these samples though infer that the ES versions are chipset locked. Anyone know if this is hard/fast/set in stone? For example this eBay vendor lists this:
While also listing the compatible chipsets as H410, B460, Z490. I'm uncertain if the chipset lock is real? My google-fu is apparently failing me, I can't even find any discussion on the matter.
If a subject matter expert could chime in I'd be grateful and if this happens to be a taboo topic please delete.
Thank you!
