These days specific part at a time I'm after :) Specific SSD, NIC, motherboard, etc...

Also browsing categories for 'newly listed' is wise if you have time :)

I like to use the eBay booleans as well while searching but often I will create a saved search with more general parameters. For anyone interested in more information on the booleans or saved search parameters I would recommend these links:

Using advanced search

Tips for Improving eBay Search Results - For Dummies
Hack 9 Focus Your Searches with eBay's Advanced Search Syntax :: Chapter 2. Searching :: Ebay hacks :: Misc :: eTutorials.org

The last one I found was pretty helpful with examples as well.

Need to bump this. Is there any way to search for:

poe+

I've tried:

"poe+"
+"poe+"
""poe+""

and none of them work, always drops the + sign

Ah same problem. I signed up for their developer API and checking if there's a work around. If all else fails ~ index all the listings myself!

"+" considers as a noise word/letter in their index, mostly all the symbols characters are consider as space, when you do searches all these noise word/letter will be filter out as space, that's why it's quite impossible to use their search engine to search anything with "+".

You can search ebay poe+ it just mixes in results from POE.

Use a script manager like tampermonkey and modify the results to only show matching POE+ :)

Tampermonkey
tried playing around with this and felt it was too annoying to parse the javascript. signed up for their api but its pretty much uselsss so i ended up parsing with python since I'm more familiar with that.

My all time favorite searches include WD SSD hard drives, WD hard drives, other than this SDHC memory cards, SDXC memory cards

Contrary, recently I have been searching for industrial cameras and line scan cameras

Anyone use Ebay's RSS?

Here's and example for a thinkpad x230

I believe the secret sauce is the "&_rss=1" at the end of the ebay search link. Must admit I've had the the odd time that it doesn't work but I've been using it for years, since ebay had an actual link at the bottom of the page.
