There isn't a lot of info on these drives, but Samsung is marketing them as replacements to the SM843T. Per what I've gathered from reviews these use 3D NAND and are the same drive as the 845DC PRO only with 7% OP instead of 28%. The numbers from Samsung don't add up exactly, but regardless the SV843 looks impressive. Datasheet
Also, while these aren't intended to be mobile drives they use 3W for writes and 1W idle. That's a lot compared to drives intended for mobile use, but not bad if you need the performance and capacity.
I bought 2 drives and paid $360 for one and $383 for the other. I just bought 4 Intel S3500's this week and these Samsungs were impulse buys. If the Samsungs work out I may be selling some like new 240GB and 300GB S3500s.
