I have an LSI 9201-16e connected to a SAS3 JBOD chassis (with 16 SATA3 disks) that has 4 SFF-8644 ports on the SIM connecting to the SAS3 backplane. Yet I'm seeing my total throughput capped around 2.2GB/s.

I've done read tests on all the drives individually and get 225-250MB/s on all of them (some are 7200rpm and some are 5400rpm). But when all disks are being read from simultaneously read speeds on all drives cap at about 137-140MB/s.

I feel like I'm missing something...

I've got a large storage setup and used to use 9200/9201 16E, they both top out around 2.2-2.5GB/sec. Seems to just be a limitation of the card.

Cant be the card. I previously (earlier today) was seeing 2.8GB/s when connecting all four SFF-8088 ports to a SAS2 JBOD. Disks are identical.
