Hi,
I'm looking to build a 1-socket system with PMEM 200. From Intel's literature, only 2-socket and 4-socket systems are mentioned for compatibility with the PMEM 200.

Is PMEM 200 supported in 1-socket systems?

My plan is to have the following home server setup:
  • 1 x Xeon Gold 6314U
  • 1 x Supermicro X12SPi-TF
  • 2 x 128GB PMEM 200
  • 2 x 32GB DDR4-3200 RDIMM
Would the above configuration work?
If the above would work, another question is on the DRAM speed - from my understanding the PMEM is DDR4-2666. Would I need to get a matching-speed DRAM or is the above 32GB DDR4-3200 fine despite the difference in speed with the PMEM?

Finally, if the above is workable, would VMware 7.0 recognise the PMEM 200? From VMware's documentation, again, only 2-socket and 4-socket systems are supported.

thanks.
