Hi there,
Has any one had experience with this card?

HP ATTO H30F 16-Port 511799-001 ExpressSAS Internal SAS SATA II Control Card
HP ATTO H30F 16-Port 511799-001 ExpressSAS Internal SAS SATA II Control Card

Is it equivalent to LSI SAS 9201-16i?
If it does, might need to cross flash to LSI SAS 9201-16i to get rid of HP ATTO branding/firmware?

Also I wonder that why this card was always advertised as
'a 16-port SAS/SATA II host adapter with transfer rates of up to 3 Gigabit per second per port with the flexibility to connect to both SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) and SATA II (Serial ATA) devices'
but not 6Gb? I recall that 6Gb/s Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) HBA is a 6Gb one. Or maybe newer firmware just
made it 6Gb?

I do not think that is a LSI controller.

The lack of SAS2 / SATA III is another tip off.

Yes you are rigjt. It could be the forst generation card, with 2.2TB problem. While the 9201 is 2nd generation 6Gb
