Hi all, New to Arista so forgive me if I post a dumb question.
I have the following Switch and have been trying to enable the use of non arista branded SFP.
Arista DCS-7050SX-64-R
Hardware version: 12.23
Serial number: SSJ16451042
Hardware MAC address:
System MAC address:
Software image version: 4.26.8M
Architecture: i686
Internal build version: 4.26.8M-28525459.4268M
Internal build ID: f37547d4-f2d5-414c-8ee5-xxxxxxxxxxxx
Image format version: 1.0
I don't believe that my current version of EOS supports the enable3px file workaround, I am thinking of Downgrading to EOS-4.18.11 based on this article that shows that version being used to implement that workaround.
Unlocking Third Party Transceivers on Older Arista Switches (thelifeofkenneth.com)
I see that the DCS-7050S is listed but not the 7050SX (Would that be the issue?)
Last is if you have a signed version of the 4.18.11 that you can share? The one I found online received a warning that the file is unsigned.
Thank You
