Really good deal for what could be an excellent homelab node for combined storage + compute imo - having three of these, all equally specced with the iGPUs and a2000's would be fan-friggin-tastic.

"Deploy the Precision 3930 Rack as a 1:1 remote PC or as a remote workstation solution via Wyse Zero clients. This option uses Teradici hardware-based compression and the PCoIP protocol for remote connectivity and a smooth, responsive experience."

Sure this is some proprietary thing just like rapid storage etc, but what is it?

Is this something that the good ol' Wyse 5070 has in BIOS?

Edit. It's sexy. really is.

Right, so yes, the 5070 is supported, you could actually run a Wyse 5070 with ThinOS, covered extensively in the forums here, attached with VESA mounts behind your screen, and 4x of these bad boys running remotely as the actual desktop(s).

Do you need a teradici card in each host?
Yes, Tera 2220 (half-height, 2 monitors) or 2240 (full-height, 4 monitors). Dell/Wyse 5030 is the hardware zero-client with the PCoIP ASIC. You can use ThinOS or any OS really for the software client, but hardware client will be the best experience.

There is a software agent that you can install instead of the host card, but the licensing costs are prohibitively expensive for personal use.

EDIT: Make sure you get Tera 2. The first-gen hardware is very much outdated at this point. Even with the second-gen hardware, you're limited to 1440p @ 60fps.
