I am not sure that this seller is using his own pictures - it is the same guy that had the S3700s posted yesterday. He pulled those said it was because he was mistaken and he had S3500s, not s3700s, but the posted auction clearly had a picture of an s3700.

I only mention this because the picture clearly shows the 6gbps version on the new s3500 listing, but the auction itself doesn't specify. I've sent a message to ask him to confirm, but if he just picked a random Dell S3500 pic, possible it doesn't match and he has the 3gbps version.

SSDSC2BB800G4T is SATA 3Gb/s support only. ( Dell Part number : VDPRV )

That picture show SSDSC2BB800G4R is not correct one. ( Dell Part number : 04FR9D support SATA 6Gb/s)

Good knowledge for the future - thank you. He never answered me to confirm... glad I didn't pull the trigger on this one. :)

I would like to point out that not all SSDSC2BB800G4T's are 3Gbps only. There are 6Gbps drives. I think it really depends on the serial number of the drives.

Also you can always use ISDCT to change speed from 3Gbps to 6Gbps.

isdct set -intelssd 0 physpeed=6

I didn't know there was a 3gb/s version of the S3700. Why the heck would they slow it down?
