CSE-846/CSE-847 - Convert to 45 bay drive?

Can I convert a CSE-846/CSE-847 to a 45 bay JBOD as easily as buying replacement drop-in parts?

Not aware of any way to convert an 846 to another style. The PSU area is too different.

An 847 conversion might be possible if you can track down the right parts, but they don't seem to publish the complete list of parts for these anymore.

Ok good. I got a few 847, if anyone has the part numbers let me know. Guessing finding them at a good price will be impossible

I actually just stumbled across this guide which makes me think it's most likely possible if you can find the parts.
