Hi,

Here my benchs about my new Crucial M500 480gb standalone and in RAID 1.

Bench 1: SSDs are plugs on port SATA III on Gigabyte H67. Os: Windows 7 SP1.

Bench 2: SSDs are plug on LSI 9265-8i in RAID1. Os: ESXi 5.1 -> VM : Windows Server 2008 R2.

The benchs was for your information (if people search on it).

My problem : With this SSDs, the "Drive Activity LED" is always on (upon startup server). They are in enclosure SuperMicro CSE-M35TQB. I don't have this problem with Crucial M4 in same conf -> RAID1 (x2 M4 128 gb).
If someone has an idea of the problem...

Thanks all,

Bye.

After test, it's seem that my enclosure is the offending. With only the power cable, the LED stay on. So it is not the Crucial with the LSI card.
