Configuring Dell NICs in non-Dell servers

I bought what turned out to be a Dell OEM X550-T2 a few years back. Now, I installed it into my new ESXi build hoping to use it for networking. It appears in the console as "Intel(R) Ethernet 10G 2P X550-t Adapter". I was planning to enable and use SR-IOV, but it appears as "not capable" in ESXi. All the related settings in BIOS are on - I can even enable SR-IOV on my HBA. After a lot of googling, I found out that a lot of Dell branded NICs have a setting to enable SR-IOV under Device Settings right next to the BIOS. I have a feeling this is the case here - SR-IOV just needs to be enabled on the card itself. Is there a bootable utility or any other way to edit Dell Device settings outside of a Dell hardware?
