Can I direct connect a QSFP card via QSFP to 4xSFP+ to ConnectX2 ?

I'm looking at the QSFP cards on ebay ($125 or so), and I'm thinking of putting one in my NAS, and then if this is possible use one of the QSFP to 4x SFP+ cables, and direct connect to the
HP ConnectX2 cards that are on sale cheap...

Would this be possible?

Reason I ask, is that I only have 4 servers total (C6005 3 node, and 1 additional server), so a 4 to 1 would be perfect.

I know my NAS wouldn't be able to max out the QSFPs, but it would be an awesome improvement over 1G (I'd assume anyway).

No, the 4->1 cables are designed to connect between switches or link the card to 4 ports on the same switch to get 40Gbps. What you don't get are 4 Ethernet devices out of the cable.
