You should look them up on CPU-world and only buy 1 stepping back from retail if you can help it.
Also search for any known errata for that stepping. Turbo that doesn't work quite right, vtd not functioning etc. And at this point... never buy B stepping SB-E chips/2011 v1

I personally feel EBAY ES are too risky, and only buy from people on the forums.
The forum users at-least use/test and aren't dumping 2nds, ,freebies, or something they know 0 about.

I've tested ES CPUs people have gotten from China, usually B Stepping, don't buy... I haven't seen the ones I've tried work other than in a couple consumer mobos.

Hi all! I've seen this Xeons.. on Ebay but now i read you here and im afraid of well functioning with VT instrucctions.

Intel Xeon E5 2670 V3 ES 2.2Ghz 30MB 12 Core 24 threads LGA2011-3 105W 22nm M0 | eBay

I've asked the seller about the VT and she says dont know about it, just ask me the model of my Supermicro MotherBoard to check if compatible.

I can't see any stepping to check if thoose would work or not.

Help is really appreciate, is my first message in the forum but I read STH daily.

Sorry for my English as I'm writing from Spain :D

I tried buying from that seller before. All communication was ignored after I sent payment, had to file a PayPal dispute to get my money back.
