One of the best sellers on ebay - I've bought 5x 6610's from him - don't repeat this but I'm pretty sure he has a LOT of these - I've seen him go down to "0 stock" 5 times now, and every time it pops back up with 5 or 6 units back in stock, I think he's trying to make it look like he has limited stock to drive up demand. He'll go really low on the best offer, like @e97 said, 175 bucks

They also include both dual PSU's, not just 1

they're also in perfect brand new condition, I don't know why he has them listed with cosmetic damage, but everyone I've got has been perfect. PoE chassis with dual PoE power supplies (the PoE enabled supplies are expensive enough on their own)

@PGlover has also bought at least 4 from this guy, lol

I was only going to spend $100 on a PoE+ switch.. but I couldn't resist. Now I get to play with 40 GbE QSFP... I caught the STH bug..

I'm guessing the Mellaonx-CX2 and CX3 QSFP + DAC will work?

Damn I guess I could use a backup especially since mine only has 1 power supply right now and a second psu cost as much as this whole thing.

I also got from this seller. Great packaging. Already came with all the premium license. My negotiating skills needs some work -- Paid quite a bit more.

If it makes you feel any better I paid full price for my first one from him :( (was still by far the cheapest dual psu Poe unit on eBay)

awesome! i think i'll pick up the HP card since its cheaper and these NetApp X6559-R6 SAS expansion Cable 5m 5 meter QSFP-QSFP 112-00178 15ft 11200178 | eBay (5m QSFP - QSFP for $8 :)
Report back on those SAS cables - I'm pretty sure the twinax in those is only speccd for 6gbps per channel - I know this wasn't an issue with the shorter ones some people have used (a couple meters), but the extra attenuation at 10gbps per channel plus being 15 foot long might be too much for it to make a link - for 8 dollars it's worth finding out!

Has that been relisted (at 350) - what was the old price that made 175 a possible BO?
Tempted despite the massive power draw ... :p

Link is for ICX6450-24.
Nah, the listing ended and eBay is doing it's new stupid silent redirect thing

I know this seller has more, everytime he sells out he lists a new listing with the same "only 5 available" quantity. Will post the new link when his next listing is up

Grabbed the HP card and a cable.

According to these posts:

the cable should work and I can't imagine NetApp being a successful company if their cables cant hit the rated speed as their SAN appliances were / are quite popular. Then again, vendor lock may play a role, but if they are not write protected :)

Only way to know for sure is to test and benchmark! Will iperf work or is there a better software to test 40 Gbps *drool*

gah... I'm not even fully utilizing my LB4M. Threw an offer out anyway. Anyone know if the POE works with Ubiquiti APs?

This site is bad for my wallet. :)
