I'm not familiar with 1.8" drives, but that does not look like the connector on 2.5" sata drives. What adapter do you use?

There are 1.8 --> 2.5" adapters.

After cost of adapter you best by 2.5" though, there are some for $125 or less on ebay right now, Buy It Now too!!

(FYI -- 1.8" have less performance than 2.5" too, not much but good to know)
