BIOS/IPMI upgrade from very old version on X9DRT-HF+

I've got a couple of Supermicro X9DRT-HF+ that has a very old BIOS/IPMI-version (1.0b/1.87).

Are there any 'gotchas' to upgrade these to the latest version?
I saw in the readme for the BIOS that the 3.3 version required that the IPMI firmware was at least version 2.0 before upgrading the BIOS.

Do I need to do this in steps and find a 2.xx-version of IPMI or can I jump straight from 1.87 to 3.62?

Answering my own question.

I did upgrade the IPMI to 3.62 first and then upgraded the BIOS to 3.3.
Everything went OK, no problems.
