bios 02.01.0003 for s2600cp and the pcie gen 3 question

I went through a few of the readme for bios updates and notice of a mention of a bios release 02.01.0003 which has this option:

- Replace "PCIe Gen 3 qualified list" solution with PCIe port based setup option for Gen3 "enable/disable"

well, very conveniently, this is not available on intel site. So just didn't know if anyone else has somehow comes across it and tried it and can post it for all of us. thanks.

That would be really good to have - anyone know what the chances are of someone at Intel support providing a copy of their archived bios?
