I am planning to buy two new / old PSUs. They are supposed to be used in a dual power rail setup, i.e. two PDUs and servers are connected to two different PDUs

The following features need to be supported:
- Per Outlet switched
- Per Outlet monitored
- Cross-PDU grouped outlets

I am currently looking at Avocent PM3000 vs Raritan PX series, as I can buy both for a similar price (Raritan is 30€ more expensive)

The Avocent has more outlets (21 C13 + 3 C19) vs Raritan (20 C13)

Both seem to support cross linking of 2 PDUs for grouped power rails (Server plugged into two different PDUs), although the Avocent are linked via serial port and the Raritan work over network

Does anyone have experience with Avocent vs Raritan PDUs? Any reason to prefer either of them?
