Hello everyone,

I have an ASUS KRPA U-16 (with a 7552) and Windows 10 and was wondering if there are reliable solutions for an automated shutdown, if a CPU threshold temperature is reached?

Regards
Mike

What crypto currency are you mining that you're afraid of temperature related problems? :D

i think he means a soft windows shutdown, not a thermal throttling/ freeze.
Yes, that is what I was referring to.

I have a water cooled workstation and recently the pump failed (and luckly I noticed in time). But I don't want to the CPU to be damaged by something like this.

Aida64 can do this under the alerting tab. A quick search can find valid serials for whatever version you want, or you could pay for a copy :) Also the CPU has built in thermal throttling, not saying this will 100% save the CPU in all cases but it should.
