@josh I got the Asus Strix B650E-E Wifi yesterday, and I would issue correction and apologize. Board does not have split x8/x8. It's PCIE 5.0 16x or x8/x4/x4 for M.2 slot split. You will have to look at X670 boards. Technically nothing forbids that except intentional product segmentation.

This is back at $360 via Amazon. It was $330 in OP, posting here because $360 itself doesn't really justify a new "deal", but worth tracking IMHO.

Just can't seem to find good enough prices on this + DDR5 ECC UDIMMs to justify making the leap yet. Without ECC features it's not much better then the Asus PRIME Z690-P currently running my setup. I guess I'll continue to wait as I assume no future W680 boards will ship even with Intel 14th gen using the same socket.

As example 4800Mhz part is about price of decent non-ECC counterpart, if you are okay tweaking on your own.
