Hey all!

So I have an ASUS server box with a KMPA-U16 motherboard. It's been running without errors using 8x 16gb 2400 mhz memory (MTA18ASF2G72PDZ-2G3A1). I had a decent deal on some 16gb 2666 (MTA18ASF2G72PDZ-2G6E1) sticks and i figured I'd try to fill in the remaining slots even tho it would ran at 2400 (I know, sorry).

Here's the catch, when I went to test the 2666 sticks only on my server it was a mess. Populating 8 channels with the 2666 gave me a "DIM TRAIN ERROR" on slots A2, B2, C2, & D2. Populating only D2 worked, D2+C2 gave me the error on C2 only. The behavior is the same no matter which stick I use in which slot. I also tried reseating the cpu and inspecting the pins

I'm currently back with the 2400 and wanted to see if some of you might have an idea of what could cause this behavior. I doubt it'll work with mixed speed considering how it already is that finicky.

Any pointers? Thanks!
