Here's an Asrock D1541D4U-2T8R for sale on eBay for $299.99 + shipping. Unfortunately, no I/O shield is included.

$500 is roughly what the 10GBE variants go for these days, clearly the seller figured out their mistake quickly.

The description is off too because it doesn't mention the 8x SAS3 12Gbps by mini SAS HD ports it has - that's what you get for copying/pasting the intro blurb from Asrock's website.

Great NAS board, even at $499.

FYI: Relisted board is now a DATTO.

Almost all the 1541 boards on Ebay are Datto pulls.

BTW, I got one of these a little while back that came damaged. I fixed it up and it works now but was also missing the I/O shield. I contacted ASRock and they mailed me one for free. So, if you have one, might be worth sending out an email to ASRock.
