Might be a stupid question but I just bought a used APC 3150 Netshelter SX server rack that came with a couple vertical mount PDU's (APC AP8941) How do I hook these into my existing APC ups's? I have 2x APC SMT1500RM2U. Is there a way to use these or do I have to buy 110v input pdu's in order for it to work? It looks like the pdu's have 208v input (NEMA L6-30P plugs). Thank you!

You're correct. That Model is a 208v version and your exsiting UPSs are the 110v variety, so you unfortunately can't use them with your UPS units. Assuming a home lab setup, I've never seen anyone with 208v setups, but it's entirely possible with the crew around here. :)

Thanks for replying. Yes it's for my home. I got a really good deal on a 'like brand new' rack so I couldn't refuse. I might just pull those pdu's and put them up on ebay since I can't use them anyway.

Those are 200/208/220 volt PDU's. You can use them on a US domestic 220V circuit or many international 220V circuits.

They are not limited to US 208 volt three phase circuits.

The wiring and sockets will likely work on 120 volts but I am not sure the internal electronics will work if you cut the 220v plug off and replace it with a 120 volt plug.

I too recommend you purchase 120V/15A replacements. The 8941's retail for close to a grand but sell on eBay for 100-200 these days. You can probably sell them and buy 120V models for shipping costs.
