Just started using CentOS 6.5, and after half a day mucking around able to get a Win7 machine up and running. Most of the time were spent troubleshooting networking, specifically bridge and iptable to allow all traffics forwarding, but so far it works pretty well.

Are there anyone using KVM other than me? The forum seems to be dedicated to ESX primarily.

+1 for KVM. Instead of proxmox I use Fedora 20 with KVM plus Docker for lightweight containers.

For Centos you might want to look at Ovirt instead of Proxmox, and also perhaps try out Centos 7 if you just started and require no backward compatibility.
