Very interesting.

Compared to the Radeon VII:

- Double the FP64 performance... so 1/2 of FP32, instead of 1/4 like the Radeon VII [which is still way better than the consumer Vega 64/56s at 1/16th]
- ECC memory
- Infinity fabric card-to-card link
- Slightly lower clocks [and power requirements]. 230W vs 300W, and 1x8 and 1x6 pin PCIE connectors [instead of 2x8 pin]
- Single, blower style fan... instead of 3 "normal" fans
- $1899 versus $500-$600 [if you can still find one]

So, if you're after ECC and FP64 per Watt per $ these look like a good deal, especially compared to Nvidia which is $$$$ more... [lack of] CUDA support is still the elephant in the room though..... but it will be interesting to see what, if anything, the newly announced Radeon ML SDK will bring to he party, and let's see what Nvidia announces tomorrow...
