Per the Lenovo Configurator, the model # 70AY0006UX is supposed to come with ..
    • 1 x IntelĀ® Xeon E5-2620 v2
    • 1 x 8 GB DDR3L-1600MHz (2Rx8) RDIMM
    • Slim DVD-RW
    • ThinkServer RAID 700 Adapter II (LSI 9260-8i)
    • ThinkServer Tool-less Rail Kit
If it's truly configured that way, that's one heck of a deal for $452. The Amazon listing says no caddies, but it looks like these are available for $16 on eBay.

I ordered one , should be here early next week. The LSI raid card pushed me over the fence.

I was planning to buy 4 small physical machines for my MAAS, Juju experiment. Now I just incorporate the newly Lenovo server ( with free ESXi 5.x to host few Ubuntu VMs) into the Juju platform.

    Thanks again @Triggerhappy

I'm worried that these do not have the LSI card or rails. Not in the Amazon listing.

$415 right now with $32 non-prime shipping. Close enough I think.

The price is the same, but not backed by the Amazon fulfillment center.
I find it easier to deal with Amazon customer support, ( example, Amazon paid for return shipping if it is their fault in the listing ). Amazon would credited my credit card as soon as the shipper picked up the return package.

I don't think Amazon USA would ship oversea, may try to send it to a shipper that would forward the package to your homeland.

Glad some people got in on this. I was on the fence and figured if I posted here you all would make sure I didn't have the temptation for long.

I second that. I didn't find any list with supported memory modules

Bummed I missed out on this! Those who ordered, could you let us know if you receive the server as expected and what the specs are? I'm going to be watching these now! I could have used one or two!

    Indeed.

Here's the link to the Intel ARK site that shows generic support of DDR3-800/1066/1333/1600 for the E5-2620v2

Here's the link to the Lenovo Quick Pick page that indicates what memory they offer as an "accessory"

A couple of great white papers from Supermicro and Fujitsu that discuss Memory configuration and Performance with the Ivy Bridge E5-2600 v2 architecture.
