    Hello,

My wife and I are early in the process of having a house built. It should be complete sometime in April. We currently have a pfsense firewall, ubiquity wap, and switches capable of providing VLANs (one ubiquity and one cisco). Our goal is to have some "light" home automation as well as a security system. Obviously I know that the IOT devices will need their own VLAN and the security elements will also need their own VLAN. Are there any articles or videos that I should look at to get a sense of how to start getting some of this set so that when we move we can have as much of the network preconfigured as possible? I'm also open to any advice or suggestions as well.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Loren
