Hello. My first post but been reading these forums for a good while now. I hope everyone is well!
I have a Supermicro SuperStorage 6049P-E1CR36L currently running 2 Silver 4114 with the stock passive heatsinks. It is running about 40c idle and 50-60 when running about 50-75% loads.
I just purchased a couple Gold 6136 and am wondering if these current Heatsinks will be up to the task? Or if I'll need to up them to the active models. They claim to be rated for up to 205W TDP I will be replacing the thermal compound with the TG Hydronaut regardless.
Opinions? Thank you kindly
