A2U44X25NVMEDK in non intel server

Hi,

I just bought (maybe too quickly) a A2U44X25NVMEDK kit.
I have the idea to use it with a SuperMicro server.
I expected to let the box as is (not installed inside a chassis) and cabling to the server.

But after reading 4 solutions tested: Add 2.5" SFF NVMe to your current system it seems the PCIe cards is not really compatible with non-intel solutions.

Do you have others experiences or solutions to make it to work ?
i haven't paid yet the kit and i'm thinking to abort the buy (through ebay).

So, without answer, i will give it a try (for 170€ the kit, i can test)

The seller say it has successfully used this kit with an asus X99e and 2x SM961 drives
